ALYSON WOODALL
ALYSON STARTED HER CAREER IN EVENT MANAGEMENT IN RALEIGH, NC AT THE NC STATE FAIRGROUNDS AFTER GRADUATING FROM NC STATE UNIVERSITY (GO WOLFPACK)!
In the Fall of 2018, Alyson took a leap of faith and started her own Wedding Planning business, Alyson Jean Events! To date, Alyson's team has had the pleasure of working with over 150+ couples to plan their special day! As a wedding planner, Alyson believes her God-given purpose is to be a light during the planning process.
FAVORITE PART OF WEDDING DAY
Seeing the bride in her wedding dress! I majored in textiles in college and thought my dream was to be a fashion designer - now I get to help design weddings instead! I love getting to see all the unique wedding dress styles and how beautiful and confident the bride feels on her special day.

Seeing the bride and groom after the ceremony and the relief of the anticipation leading up to that point being released and ready to start their reception, enjoying the time with friends and family.

My favorite part of a wedding day is watching the grooms face as he sees the bride walking down the aisle.

I love the first dances between the couple, the mother son & father daughter! They always make me cry and each of them shows the special relationships in the room and connects everyone together!

My morning Starbucks coffee - Iced coffee always, Harris Teeter sub & a bag of goldfish!

Favorite part of wedding day
It's truly hard to pick just one! Watching the bride step into her dress is so special and magical! Especially when she gets to do it with some of the most important ladies in her life. Another moment that I love is the first look with the brides Dad's. This holds such a special place in my heart and I get all the chill bumps watching this take place! Cue the waterworks and grab the tissues!

My Stanley with water, iced latte, my claw clip, chapstick, dry shampoo (yes, some days are full send, so it's definitely a must have!), and my cute AJE attire! Snacky snacks are always on hand too!

My favorite part of wedding day is simply being a part of the bride and groom’s special day. Seeing all their hard work and planning come together on their big day is such a special moment for them and to be a part of it is an incredible experience. I feel blessed to be a part of the moments like opening doors for the bride to walk down the aisle where she sees her husband for the first time.

One thing I can’t live without on wedding day, besides my phone, would be making sure I have my Alani energy drink. You will always see me with one!

I love the energy and excitement of the day. From the anticipation getting ready to the dancing during the reception. Every moment feels exciting and hopeful!

I love seeing everything come together and how beautiful each wedding is. I also love seeing the creativity and ideas each couple uses in their wedding. No wedding is the same and I take away something different each time!

Honestly for myself, chapstick. But for others, scissors!! Someone always needs them! And probably trying the cake or dessert!!

Prepping the bride before they walk down the aisle. The last minute touches from fixing their hair to fluffing out their veil, and seeing the love and excitement on the bride’s face moments before their grand reveal.
