Alyson started her career in event management in Raleigh, NC at the NC State Fairgrounds after graduating from NC State University (Go Wolfpack)!

She quickly fell in love with the wedding industry after having the opportunity to help plan some of her friends' weddings!
​
Alyson joined a local wedding venue, The Pavilion at Carriage Farm, as a Venue Manager shortly after the venue opened in 2017 and has since expanded in to the role of Lead Coordinator.
​
In the Fall of 2018, Alyson took a leap of faith and started her own Wedding Planning business, Alyson Jean Events!

To date, Alyson's team has had the pleasure of working with over 100+ couples to plan their special day! As a wedding planner, Alyson believes her God-given purpose is to be a light during the planning process.

In her spare time you can find Alyson spending time with her husband and their four fur-babies, hanging out at local coffee shops, boating, skiing or hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains with family!
Laura

Accounting Manager + Lead Assistant Coordinator

Laura joined Alyson Jean Events (started by her daughter Alyson) in an accounting role. Her passion and gifts for helping others quickly drew her to experience the excitement of wedding planning too! She has always enjoyed being part of a team environment and has easily transitioned her attention to detail into wedding events. Working with the pieces and people coming together to make every wedding magical is nothing short of amazing!
Laura has fun working with mothers of the bride/groom her age as they plan weddings for their children close in age to her own. She enjoys recalling special memories of her wedding in seeing so many old traditions still being included today but also the freshness of learning new ones.
She and her husband Roger own Roger’s Classic Cars, classic oldsmobile wedding and event cars. She takes care of the accounting and scheduling for Roger’s Classic Cars and finds pleasure in working with couples choosing to add special classic car touches to their engagement and wedding photos. In her free time she enjoys visits with family, power walking, boating and hiking in the mountains of NC.
Stacy

Lead Assistant Coordinator
Stacy was born and raised in Sanford, North Carolina, where she still lives with her husband and daughter. Stacy fell in love with working at weddings while assisting her Photographer friend over the past several years.
Even though, she is new to the wedding planning and coordinating world, she has always been in roles of leadership and helping others. You'll always see a smile on her face and a willing hand to help in any way she can.
Stacy enjoys spending time with family, watching movies and being outdoors. She is so excited to be a part of our team and cannot wait to assist in helping the wedding day go so smoothly.
Catie

Assistant Coordinator
Catie was born and raised in Clayton, NC. She currently attends East Carolina University and will graduate in May, Go Pirates! She is studying Interior Design, Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship. Catie’s attention to detail helps tremendously while assisting with one of the most special days a couple can have together.
​
As the ceremony begins, Catie loves seeing the reaction of the groom, as his beautiful bride floats down the aisle. While having some experience in the wedding industry, Catie is excited to learn and grow while working with our wonderful team.
In her spare time, Catie enjoys antique shopping, time with her family and fiancé, spending days on the beach, and playing with her dachshund, Briggs. Catie values her faith and believes that working with Alyson Jean Events is right where she needs to be.

Catie also has her business, CaCo Designs where she enjoys bringing home and venue photos to life through hand drawn portraits.
Brianna

Assistant Coordinator
Brianna was born in Florida but has lived in Cary, NC since she was young. Her passion has always been helping and caring for people. She has worked in the medical field since 2014 and currently works in the UNC Rex ER.
​
Brianna discovered her new found passion for weddings when planning her sister's wedding and then her own! She gets her creative inspiration from her Mom and enjoys helping her plan over-the-top family gatherings, bridal showers, baby showers and anything else you can imagine!

Brianna is looking forward to using her passion for helping others to help brides on their wedding day!
Lauren D.

Lead Assistant Coordinator
Lauren grew up just outside of Hershey Pennsylvania ( the sweetest place on earth), graduated from Penn State University and now lives in Raleigh NC. She has worked in hospitality for most of her life, starting with my first serving job at 16. Her entire family has worked at the Hershey Lodge and Convention center so you could say it's in her blood.
Lauren discovered she had a passion for events and weddings after taking a role as one of the Assistant Banquet Managers at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. That eventually brought her to North Carolina where she accepted the role of Assistant Banquet Manager at the Carolina Inn. She now currently work at Lenovo but have since found she really misses the high energy and excitement of weddings and events!

In her free time she and her husband love to visit the coast any chance they can get or try their hand experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Lauren loves home décor and interior design and is always helping friends with home projects or looking for the next new project to tackle in her home!
Hannah

Assistant Coordinator
Hannah was born and raised here in Johnston County, NC. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, coffee shops, and tacos (lime and cilantro are a MUST!)
She attended the University of North Carolina-Wilmington where she graduated with her bachelors in Elementary Education in 2014. Even though
she cheered on the UNCW Seahawks for 4 years, she'll always be a Carolina Girl! Go HEELS!
Currently, she is a full time ESL teacher for JCPS, but does photography on the side. While working as a wedding photographer, she discovered that she really enjoys the hospitality, planning, and creativity that wedding planners get to be a part of. She decided to branch out a little further into the wedding industry and join the team here at Alyson Jean Events as an Assistant Coordinator. Her favorite part of wedding days are making sure the bride, groom, and families are taken care of. She’ll be by your side the whole day and will always be your biggest hype girl!
Emily

Assistant Coordinator
Emily was born and raised in Apex, NC. She went to the University of South Carolina and graduated with a Biology degree. Following graduation, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Zambia, Africa where she worked to support a rural community through health education programming. When COVID-19 upended her work in Zambia, she pivoted to getting a Master's in Public Health and currently works with the North Carolina Division of Public Health. In her free time, she enjoys finding and cooking the best TikTok recipes, spending time with family and friends at Lake Tillery, and traveling across the country to visit friends.
Since many of her friends are in the wedding season, she has the opportunity to plan and host bachelorette parties and other wedding day festivities often. She has enjoyed using her creativity and organizational skills to make these events memorable. Emily's favorite part about weddings is seeing family and friends celebrate amazing couples and being able to feel the love that will continue on past the big day.
Angie.

Assistant Coordinator
Angie was born in Albany, New York but moved to Holly Springs, NC when she was a baby and currently lives in Cameron, NC. Angie graduated from Meredith College with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Business Administration.
After graduating, Angie worked many different roles in the fashion industry including being a store buyer and owning her own showroom at the Atlanta apparel mart. She currently does sales and marketing for a local technology company, but loves to keep to her fashion roots.
Even though Angie is new to wedding planning, she is excited to bring her love and passion for textiles and eye for design to your special day! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her puppy Gigi, spending time with her family and friends and traveling to new places.
Lauren B.

Social Media Coordinator
Lauren grew up in Clayton, NC. She graduated from NC State University where she studied Fashion and Textiles. After graduating during the pandemic, she started a dual-degree Master’s program with NC State University and Skema Business School. This graduate program allowed her to study abroad in Paris, France (her first time out of the country!). Lauren has since worked in Social Media Marketing.
In her free time, Lauren loves to read, spend time with friends & travel any chance she gets! Lauren adores weddings & has been fortunate enough to be a part of many of her friend’s weddings since college. Lauren is excited to bring her social media skills to the AJE team and you may even see her at a few weddings, phone in hand!
